My BK11 definitely earns it's keep.

I stopped carrying a folder when I got my BK11, so it gets used daily for everything from opening packages, mail, sharpening pencils for my son,
cutting up a meal, ect.
But my BK11 also makes a great skinner.

It made short work of this dear hide.





While I used a longer knife to dress the dear, there's no doubt in my mind that I could have gotten by with just my little Necker.

The hole in the bead is a little too small for 2 strands of paracord, but since it's pewter and not very hard I widened the hole with a needle file.
The scales are home made from G10.

I don't know how I got along so long without my 11.
I'm lost without it, unless I'm carrying my 14.
