My BK14 has arrived, and it rocks !

So my 14 is finally here, holidays delayed everything a little.
What can I say, it's a very nice knife. I ordered it with the Izula scales, it fits my hand quite nice.
Some jimping or thumb ramp would've been nice, other than that it's really great !

Quick comparison shot to my Kershaw, my fixed EDC until now:

Handle size is basically the same, but the Becker has some more blade length, which is exactly what I wanted

Best way of rust prevention for carbon steel, cut some nice Salami !

tl,dr: the 14 rocks but you already knew that :thumbup:
 
Great pictures, I'm sure you'll love it. I'm a big necker fan, izula ii being my edc and i have a great appreciation for a small, quality fixed blade. Thanks for sharing!
 
Awesome little knife for sure :D just got done (for now) decking mine all out (stripped it, Ka-Bar Scales, 710 kydex sheath) with plans to have the knife and the scales media blasted in the future)
 
Nice! I've never used one with the Izula micarta on it. I can say for sure, the Zytel scales are worth every penny.

Just ordered another, myself. It'll be good to have a BK14 back in the fold.
 
Ive been EDCing a 14 for the last 2 months, and ill never not have one in my pocket. Like mrn8, ive never used the esee micarta, but the kabar zytel is awesome. You got a good en bro, use the heck out of it.
 
i love my bk11 dis some mods simple mods earlier there s a post up if ya wanna see>? congrats on the 14!
 
What is the handle length difference this and the Izula. I already have an Izulla and have been contemplating a 14.

i believe the handle length is identical to the izula, it's the blade that differs. the Izula II has a slightly longer handle than the both of em.
 
I'm a recent Eskabar owner as well and really fell in love with it after I stripped the smooth black coating. Now I'm just waiting for my kydex sheath to arrive!
