My BK15 and BK16 Are Taking a Bath...

I put the 15 and the 16 in the same pan of heavy duty paint stripper, at the same time yesterday afternoon.

Got up this morning to make coffee and went out to check on them.

The 15 had the wrinkled up coating that slipped off mostly in one piece, just like I expected.

The 16 doesn't show any signs of being affected at all.

What's the difference?

They were both fully submerged in the same stuff.

Does Becker use different coatings?
 
I've had that happen. Just scrape it with a plastic putty knife until the surface is scuffed up then resubmerge it. Sand paper works too. For some reason it needs help penetrating on some knives.
