do very much. Its thick stock makes it nearly impossible to do anything properly. Here, lemme show you what I mean.

I am going to attempt to make a fire, with my BK2, 2 pieces of cedar, some white oak, and a Bic lighter.

First, I need to make some shavings and small curls to be my tinder bundle. My BK2 can't whittle or make small curls.

See what I mean?

Now, I teach "toothpicks, pencils and fingers" when it comes to fire. Since my BK2 failed to make toothpicks and pencils, I'll see if it can make some fingers.

So, another fail on the BK2's part. Epic fail. But, I'll continue to try and get a tune out of this trombone. Bear with me. Since I have my tinder and support wood, now, I need some solid hardwood to create a solid coal base. Here goes.

So, with such a thick stock, my BK2 is pretty much useless. It can't even make a simple fire to heat my home. I'm thinking about changing brands, to something with a better design and more thought out.

Gawd, I love my job sometimes. :D Who says a moderator can't troll, even just a little bit. :D

Thanks for lookin'.

Yeah, stupid piece of junk. Think I'll get rid of mine too...

Going to use those pics on another forum where the only knives that get any credit are ones that cost mint and you have to wait 3 years to get one!

You can go ahead and send it to me if you like! I can make some awesome feather sticks with mine. Is yours sharp? I took my out of the box, stropped it and went to town!

Edit: Yeah...just now realized who posted this thread. Loser!

Geez, it's a bummer you can't make a fire with your BK2. I can't with mine either. Guess you'll just have to melt it down in that fire you made with it and sell off the hunk of 1095CV. Oh wait... :)

No, no, no... you're doing it wrong Moose. You're supposed to use LAWNMOWERS, not cedar!

I thought everyone knew that by now. How many more threads are n00bs like you gonna post about this subject. :D

Yer doin' it wrong..

The BK2 was NOT designed for mere bushcraft tasks.

It was designed for field dressing Buicks.

I thought everyone knew that by now..

Sheesss..

Awesome post!

When I show people my BK2 they ask me "what do you do with that thing?" My reply, "Everything".

make me dinner or clean the house. Worked night shift last night and when I got up... NO DINNER! My BK2 just sat around all day lounging in her sheath. Here's an action shot of my Becker being lazy... :p
