Thanks to Tomars Kabars for the quick shipping! It shipped the day I ordered it and arrived today.

I've read, read, and read some more about what monsters these things are. It still didn't prepare me for the behemoth of a blade that arrived at my door today. Just got back in from out of town, and the weather is nasty here right now so I can't go out and dirty it up just yet.

You'll also see pictured the Maxpedition Kodiak that I treated myself to. Been coveting Maxped stuff for a while, but it appears that most are too short for a 6'5", 300 lb frame. So thought I'd try a slinger for daypack carry.

My next day out will be outstanding!

Congrats. It is a beast indeed. Hard to get a feel for it, until you actually hold one.
 
Okay. Whats the secret to the pics being bigger when I post them? Is it file type, or should I use a hosting site?
 
congrats on the 2! Just got some stainless hardware for mine. man, i know the feeling. the first time i actually held the BK2 i was in awe.

Upload them to Photobucket or Flickr, grab the Img Code, and paste in. You uploaded to BFC, I think.

Nice! Great pics too btw. You'll love your BK2, it's a heavy-duty outdoorsman's tool for sure. It's up to nearly any task you could reasonably expect from it.
