I believe they were offered on the Becker forum with the roll stamp before open production was offered to the masses. I think...

The Promo is the black one, and its the current thickness. The silver one is the Cincinatti Machax and it is .25 inches thick. It really is a different animal!

I got a chance to test a Cinci out at Ethan's. It had a convex edge, and was really nice. Before the earth ends, I shall own one. For now my two Ka-Bars will do.
