My BK7 came in and now has new handles

I think that I might like the BK7 better than the BK2. Seems better balanced and a bit more comfortable in the hand. Went with the blue/black G10 handles again, but think I'll either go Camo or red/black for my next Becker (BK9?).

You know the price on the BK7 has been dropping down to a point were I have been really tempted to get one. I know I would probably like it a lot but it seems if I need a blade longer than 5 inches... I am always grabbing the 9 instead of any of my other 7 inch clippers. If I got it, it would be just because I love clip points, Beckers, and KA-BARs.
 
Sweet Jeebus!!!! The 7 looks nice with those scales. The 7 is one of my favorites. (not sure if the 12 beats it yet but getting close)
 
Don't let Dexwithers see this. He'll stop eating & maybe sell his AR to buy G10 for all his knives! :D

I really like this knife. Me, my Rottie, my UTV, and the 7 were out for awhile this morning rounding up some downed trees to bring back to the house. What I do is to clean the tree up a bit where I find it and pull it up onto a trailer with a small portable winch. Then I bring it back to prepare for winter wood (I'm older so I don't get morning wood any more, just winter wood... pa-da-dum - yeah, that was bad).

Anyhow, that 7 was great for knocking off smaller branches. One swipe - gone. Anything that I couldn't knock off in 2 whacks really needed a saw, anyway. This thing is really nicely balanced and feels good in the hand when working with it. I was impressed. I had done some similar work with my BK2 and, while it did the job just fine, the 7 was easier to use. Should have taken pictures, but left the camera at home. :(

Anyway, thanks for the compliments, guys. Appreciated. :thumbup:
