First of all let me tell you Anne, that the show was a blast for me, and that was mostly thanks to you.

Anne is one of the nicest persons I know at all. I’ve been always delighted with her emails but during live conversation she’s made such a positive impression on me that my English is not good enough to express it here. Also can you imagine, that she’s invited my very best friend (who’s left to US couple of months ago) and myself to join their table during the Blade Award Banquet to make my first Blade experience really complete? Wow! So Anne, thanks a lot for your support, help and fun I’ve had in Atlanta. I really appreciate that and I'll never forget that I've been honored to join you, your family and Bill Saturday evening. That was very special event... especially if you are at Blade for the first time :)

Chris... master of the knife. Fixed, folders, working knives, gent's blades... if you're lookin for the best, take a close look at his creations. Chris, that was a great time. It's always nice to have a talk with a gentleman like you.

Than of course... Congratulations Anne & Chris! Voting for Manufacturing Quality Award was an easy choice for most people I guess as you produce simply the best knives I'm aware of. Have you ever seen better production folder than Sebenza? Well, a lot of custom makers would be happy to match the quality of benza, and the look of some more sophisticated versions. Looking for gent’s folder? What about wood inlay Mnandi with diamond insert and zebrawood damascus blade? Here is a pic made just after the banquet. Also Tony from MT joined us for a minute (BTW, his MTX2 scored American Made Knife of a Year award). Anne, it's your evening, don't hide behind Tony ;)

I’ve met also Bill Harsey there. Nice man… however it’s good I’m not his enemy. And his Green Beret is a serious stuff... just one stout take-anywhere-do-anything knife.

And the very end of my story... have you ever had a chance to play with Chris' custom folder? Well, that is very very special expirience. The one I've seen was very unique, with special kind of lock - I'd call it full-scale-framelock. Nice. Sweet. Perfect.

So... once again thank you all for the great time in Atlanta. And see you next year... I hope

OMG, OMG, OMG that custom knife may be the most beautiful knife I've ever seen!!!!!!!! What was the price tag? What are the specs? Can I have it? :D ;)

So it sounds like you had a good time..Tell us more about chris, whats he like? Did you show him any of your crk for a quick look to make sure everything is fine...I think thats what id do if i met him...Id say chris , can you take a look at my sebbie, just to make sure..kinda like eddie van halen playin your guitar, to make sure its in tune.

Dave, you can probably get the pic to work by right clicking, going to properties, and copy and pasting the URL in your browser.

That custom knife has only one screw?...?

Works indeed. And if you see still this "imagestation" sign after copy/paste than click "reload" and it should be there :)

Nooo... however, I've told him couple of stories about my Sebbie instead. Well, I'm still worried what have been his thoughts about me when I've told him a story of using my Sebenza sticked into an old log as an... airgun target (sic!). Just because the handle was nicely contrasting with the dark wood around. Well, after couple of direct hits I've simply washed it with a brush and it's still in perfect condition... of course! It's Titanium after all, and I've been quite sure that airgun pellet at whatever speed (800fps actually) can't do ANY damage to this stout knife. Just one more Sebenza use...  :D

Thanks for the great report and pics PiterM  Thanks for the help with reloading the pics Johnnny :D

It sure would be nice to see that custom go into production................

Chris and Anne are top drawer people, indeed. Glad you had such a good first Blade Show experience, Piter.

Seriously, could someone give me some info, such as specs, on that beautiful custom knife shown in the last photo. If that knife was a woman I'd be in LOVE. :D ;)

The knife is a Lock 45 (99% sure). I lust after them as well. HERE is a thread with some info and more/better pix.

Matt, great use of the search function. So now I wonder how many of these were made?

Thanks, Matt. Man, I would love to lay my hands on one of those babies. It is absolutely gorgeous.

Ten at least, apparently :D

I remembered the thread, but I tried to search the CRK Forum for "Lock 45" and got an error message cuz I think you have to have at least 3 letters in any search term. You can imagine how many hits you would get if you left off the "45" and just searched for "Lock." I just kept digging til I found it.

There was a picture of three specially made posted a couple of years ago, there was one a "Number 7" maybe? Anyway it looked great to me!

I realize that this is a largely unanswerable question (apart from pure speculation) but here goes. Does anyone have any idea (rough as it may be) as to the current value/price of one of these knives?
