Just got back from Atlanta. I lost the RJ Martin, Peter R and Hinderer lotteries but considering what that freed me up to buy, I am in no way disappointed!!

Top is a Kirby Lambert Scorpios in Red G10 and LSCF. Absolutely beautiful piece. Ashamed Kirby couldn't be there as I would have loved to have met him. I am already planning out what my next Lambert should be!!

Bottom is a Michael Raymond Estrella. I figure it is probably the closest I will ever get to a Lochsa. Words and pictures cannot properly describe this knife. It is something you really need to hold in your hands to get an appreciation for. I never really wanted one until the day I handled Locutus' Estrella and I think I knew that day that I had to have one. I would encourage anyone even remotely interested in the knife to go handle one and I promise you will be hooked.

This little beauty also followed me home:

A very nice gentleman (and former member here) at the KAI booth gave this to me as an early birthday present.

I also got an AWESOME neck knife from Gary Wheeler. O1 tool steel with carbon fiber scales and the whole thing is bead blasted for a very very sweet finish. I will post pictures of it tomorrow.

I hope everyone else had an excellent time as well!!

Congrats on your new knives that ZT 300 blackwash is stunning you are a lucky man indeed. I missed blade this year but next year I won't. Thx for sharing and making want that Zt even more;)

Very nice selection. That is one heck of a gift, I love the ZT03xx series and th BW looks very cool.

I couldn't make it down this year either unfortunately, hopefully next year though.

Great pickups though, Kirby is one of my fav makers and I just love his designs.

And that ZT is just plain sexy as hell, carry all of them well brother!!

And happy Birthday!

Finally got back from vacation and got some pictures of my Wheeler.

O1 tool steel, carbon fiber scales. I love the matte look of the carbon fiber. He achieved this from bead blasting the entire knife, including the scales.

^^^ That fixed is sexy as hell.

I'm not too into fixed blades but that one I would def add to my collection.

Such a nice selection of scores from the show!!!
