hey all just got my benchmade 551 in the mail today, Thanks for all the suggestions in my previous thread.

Next thing i could use some help with is where can i get some custom scales for it

as you can tell i went standard (unreal price for it) but id like some unique G10 or aluminum handles for it that dont cost an arm and a leg to buy..... any suggestions????

Kevin Wilkins has a batch of Alumininum scales coming up for sale soon. You'll have to use google to find him.
 
Keyman's work looks great. I just picked up some scales from Kevin Wilkins and Cuscadi. They are inbound as we speak. Couldn't get here fast enough. Congrats on the 551. The Griptilian is a nice knife. I currently have 6 in my collection!
 
I own a decent amount of knives, and plenty of them are Customs.

But I can't say enough great things about the Griptilian.

I truly love my 550HG and its sharp as hell as well.

So sharp that the other day I managed to cut my finger with mine.

Right on the tip and its impossible to cover with a band aid lol.

But when it comes to value for the money, the Griptilian line is WELL worth the money.
 
Still waiting for mine to get back from Oregon for a tune up. Everyday when I get home I look for a box in the mail or on the porch!!! Its a great knife, you're gonna love it!!
 
Just to let you all know i have owned a mini grip before but it went MIA so this is kind of a re-uniting of sorts of an older knife.

Just sent a reply letter to Keyman about black n blue G10 scales... I am also very interested in the Aluminum scales
