My BM 940 opened twice in my pocket . The second time (today), I cut my hand reaching into my pocket for something else other than the knife.

Anyone had same problem with this model?

Is there anything to fix it other than wear it loose and forget clipping it?

I've had mine a few days. I keep the blade side tucked against the back of my pocket. There is no way I can cut myself on it.

If it opens at all the back of my pocket would just push it back closed.

Weird, you would think with an axis lock this wouldnt be an issue, but I cant say that 100%.

You might consider tightening your pivot down.

You must be carrying it wrong... If you're carrying correctly, the blade's spine should be against the lining of your pocket, preventing any way of the blade opening up.

I carry a lot of my knives tip down-blade forward and have never had any of them open on me. Military, Leek, Shallot, Sentinel, ZT's.....
You could have a faulty knife instead of you being at fault. It shouldn't open in your pocket. ;)
