Why the screwdriver when you have it on the Soldier and multitool? Instead of the tin for the matches, why don't you use a zip lock bag or small tupperware. Weighs less and waterproof. Definitley add some heavy duty trash bags, aluminum foil and zip wire ties. Infinite uses for all of them and they take up little to no room.

nice kit - I like the inclusion of an offset screwdriver.
I have a small ratchet driver and handfull of bits in mine - a little more bulky, but similar idea.

Thanks for the comments so far. I will take more pics tonight of the rest of the kit which includes items a few of u recommended. I just ran out of time last nite.
Thanks

I don't know where you are and can't quickly ascertain that info, but I'd probably add a poncho, tarp, sheet of plastic, or several trashbags.

And some cordage.

Shelter is the first priority afterall.

If you're in the desert in the summer, maybe not. If' your in a temperate area, it makes life much easier.

the NATO lifeboat matches come in a small plastic bottle, and you can see the lid there with the striker inside. sooo i'm also wondering why the tin instead of the original package. mainly because the bottle the come in seems more secure than a tin.

the offset screwdriver also seems more like extra weight than anything else, with the SAK and the multitool you've already got several screwdrivers. most multitools let you use the screwdriver blades at 90°.

Plastic sheets and garbage bags can be useful in the desert for making solar stills. Of course if you are stranded long enough to make digging stills worthwhile things have gone seriously wrong (You need about 6 stills to provide water for 1 person).
