Thanks, guys, for your posts. The knife is pretty, that's true.

The 531 is one of the knifes that Buck sold together with the lifetime BCCI-
membership. And as Dave told: they have some of them left over. I got the
knife from Buck yesterday, many thanks.

This was one of the best deals that Buck has come out with in recent years. I was at their plant with my wife last July and when I was in the store, I noticed the 531 and was advised of the deal with the lifetime membership. I jumped on it. We (you, me and others) not only got a great looking knife, but lifetime membership in the BCCI. :thumbup:

Thank you, Mike, for the gratulations. I didn't believe it first when I heared, that Buck sells a pretty knife and the lifetime membership for the price of the knife. That was an offer that I coldn't refuse. But it was a fortune circumstance. As I come to know, the offer is no longer available.

Hey Haebbie - Is that true??? There's no lifetime memberships + knives left??? :eek:

I just got my IRS refund and was thinking of converting my BCCI membership... :(

Who did you talk to at Buck???
 
Hi Chicken,

I've come to know it from a member of BF who asked for the lifetime membership coupled with the Buck 531 too. I got the LTM at least from Pete Manson ( pmason@buckknives.com ). The first contact to Buck in this context I had to Ena Johansson. I think it is better to ask either of them or Joe Houser as their chief what is possible now.
