that is a nice collection. I have become pretty interested in historical bowies. There is such potential within that genre. thanks for sharing.

Great collection. I particularly like the rendition of the Forrest Bowie in the first picture.

Now that is a Bowie collection. Congrats, thanks for showing us that.

All knives are made by my design. I tried to copy the classic examples. Or I misunderstood you?

I just noticed you are from Russia; perhaps it's more to do with the Queen's English than anything else. Not a problem. :D You may also be a knifemaker given the manner in which you responded to me in your last post. You have to realize that I don't know who you are, I only noticed the thread and came in to have a look.

I really like the design on the left in the second last picture.

I apologize for my English I do not understand the nuances of English humor although in Russian I have a good sense of humor. Simple English momentum I understand myself, trying to translate the complicated by Google translator but the result is clear ... in this sub-forum I show only objects made either by myself or in my design the rest of my collection I show here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1186860-Tactical-fixed.

Don't you worry one bit makandr, you're doing just fine.

Your collection is massive, many would love to be able to have HALF of what you do... .even a quarter.:D

If you told me to pick one knife for myself out of your collection, the one circled below is the one I would go for. Tell us what it is. :D

A Brend? Out of all those knives I happen to pick a Walter Brend? What a lucky pick aye?

... at this rate, it won't be long before the blind shall see and the lame shall walk. :D

You have a good taste ....

It was strange makandr; for some inexplicable reason, when I first laid eyes on that picture, almost all the knives in it DISAPPEARED. All I could see was ONE knife. :D

It's Brend's Model 1, 11.75" LOA in 4.8mm A2. I will receive a replica soon in 1/4" CPM-154 that I made an exacting template of to 12.5" LOA and kept all other aspects of the profile proportional to the original. So it will be a little bit deeper to the original with a slight taller hilt - proportionally larger. I am seriously thinking of having the Model 2 replicated as well in a CPM steel.
