I was sharpening it on the sharpmaker and I accidentally knocked the blade on the fine grit cermic stone and the edge chipped... ok.. maybe chipped is a gross overstatement, but the edge went and there was a knick...
Whats the deal? The BR can chop concrete but knicks when it knocks lightly into a shaprening stone?
Not a complaint or anything, can live with that insignificant knick but just wondering why this is so.. I mean, I know that the sharpening stones are perfectly capable of cutting metals.. but something like this happening?????
Anyone has a similar experience or am I the only one with butter fingers around here??
