You find the History of CS Push Knives thread of course They were listed as 400 Series Stainless in the 1992 and 93/94 catalogs, and then AUS8 in the 1995 catalog...might be the same steel.

I posted a WTB ad on the S&W forum, and a member there had this Defender I, and two Defender II's.

Paid him $110 shipped for it. Was that bad?
