Hey, my new bear i got around x-mas time broke on the safe handle where the latch goes it. There were no warranty papers in the box but this is bull-shat. How would I be able to contact them? I need to tell Mr. Bear or whatever that ALL of the Bears i've seen have this problem after minimal flipping.


and dont wory guys- i already ordered a BM-42 from Bladeauction (there still are some left) and it'll be here in a week.

also-if anyone says "I told u so" about Bears, i dont want to hear it, everyone needs to start somewhere
 
My second bali was a Bear and I had immense problems with it (if you do a search you'll hear my endless complaining) which lead me to keep their contact info on hand.

I never bought a Bear. I really love the shape of their tanto, but they're too expensive.

Thanks... just wondering, were they helpful when you called them, I mean i dont think my knife should be cracked already and i want it repaired or replaced...think they'll do it??

That is almost a beauty and the beast marriage. Swiss Army is one of the most if not the most respected knife company in the world. It's very popular here in America, but much more popular in Asia.

It looks like they went after Bear MGC for their tool, but we can always hope that they do some good things with the Butterfly Knifes. We all would like to see them give Benchmade a run for their money. Thanks, JohnR7
 
Bear will just replace the handle that broke and ship it back to you. When the handle broke on my Bear I just sent it back to them and they put on a new handle.

If had know that they would replace the handles i would of tried to make a "frakenBali" ( on balisong made from 2) this is terible!!!!!! not to mention the handle completely broke in half on mine! with out any hard use!
 
Yeah they should replace it but no they aren't helpful at all and extremely rude to talk to. One guy actually started to act like he was smarter (something I greatly dislike) than me because he worked there or something. If he was so smart he would be fixing the companies problems not adding to it.
