Hello all,

I wanted to share my brother's 2nd knife. He is very new to making knives but wanted to share what I believe to be a very good 2nd attempt. I don't have the stats for the blade and scales, but as you can see the design lends itself to be a skinner of sorts.

He has an account here and may join and add more to the post shortly. Please share your thoughts if you have a moment.
Thanks for looking!!

The blade is 3 inches, 7.25 overall, 1075, spalted Texas pecan scales. It took me a while to finish but worth the time. It was definitely a learning experience. Hopefully the next knife will be easier and less time consuming. I definitely have to upgrade my equipment and I don't think I'll ever go with quarter-inch thick steel again.

What Paul said, very nice second knife and yes as time goes on it gets easier and quicker.

I like it. Looks better than most people's knives that have made more than 2.

Thank you all for the positive comments. I can't wait to improve my skills as I can promise this won't be my last. I really did this as a practice knife but my real desires are to make frontier knives and leather sheaths with bead work.

Very nice 2nd knife. It will be easier and faster with practice :)

Great second effort. I really like the pairing of the blade finish with the spalted pecan handle.
