My brother just got back from a moose hunting trip today and he called me right away. He was super excited because he got his first moose. He was on his way to pick up one of his hunting partners from a lake so they could break for lunch, when he spotted a legal moose. He got a nice clean shot off.
Well he decided to use a knife that he and I made together to clean and dress the animal. It was our first collaboration knife. He forged the w1 drill rod down, and I did all the rest. I was very happy to hear that the knife performed spectacularly. He dressed the whole moose with just the one little blade, and it could still shave the hair from your arm when he was done. I was actually a little bit surprised.
This is the most testing one of my blades has seen yet, and I was glad to get the feedback.
I hope we do more collaborations in the future.
