That would be cool lookin. What is that handle material?
I wont be surprised if you get it Plum![]()
I honestly don't remember what it is. It appears to be bone or something like that. I've had it for several years and I can't find the box.
I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for Buck to fullfill my wish though!
Post it on the traditional or general forum, someone oughta know what it is.
Looks like Ironwood to me.

I'm pretty sure you're right about the 532. I don't know what the Case handles are and no one so far on the Traditional forum has come up with the answer either.
The Case looks to be Leopard spotted cow bone IMHO. But, what the heck do I know.

When does Buck roll out their new models for 2011?![]()
Looks like Ironwood to me.

The model number on the box may be the key: 0532IWSBP5-B. Perhaps the IW stands for Ironwood? The cat. number is 9522 and the date is 04/25/2008.
Correct on the handle material . The Case blade looks like a Warncliff style . DM
As I am not the owner of the knife the type of wood is not a concern to me Dave. But, whatever kind of wood it is, that photo is pure eye candy. Thanks for sharing it with us. I remember a Duke 500 with Ironwood and it had the same eye appeal as your 532.
Here I sit admiring your 532 and I'm thinking to myself......"I don't really find the 532 to be one of my favorite models, it only looks nice with Bark Stag, or M Ivory, or Paua & Pearl, or Mokume & Apple Coral, and now Ironwood. Well I guess I do like the 532 more than I thought"...LOL
