My Buck wish list

Know what I would really, really like to buy? I wish Buck would turn out a Vanguard with a water buffalo horn handle, finger grooves, and a blade of either S30V or BG-42.

IMHO, I would really like to see the Vanguard and the 119 offered in a customizable format like you can get the 110 in. I think that if Buck did that they'd swamped with orders.

They may already be swamped with orders just with the 110 :D

Cabelas has a nice Vanguard with S30V.

I agree though it would be neat to have other models offered! They were planning to do it at one time, I dont know what happened to the idea though... :(

I'm already planning on treating myself for Christmas with a rosewood handle Cabela's AG Vanguard. But, after using my HI kukri with a buffalo horn handle I kind of took a liking to that handle material. I remember years ago seeing a run made of the Buck Kalinga (spelling?) such as I was wanting to see on the Vanguard. For general use in hunting and bushcraft the Vanguard is one of the most useful knives that Buck makes.
