Howdy Y'all,
I've got a 301 made in 2000 and a 110 made in 2003. I have always liked them, and I have carried the 301 extensively, but I was just wondering what the general consensus is about the production quality of those models during that time period. I'm sure they probably aren't quite as nice as the ones from "the good 'ol days," but I was wondering nonetheless. Thanks!

Welcome to the Buck Forum Trout Hound. Personally I think they are all good but I'm partial to any 301 made after about 1991 with 3 back springs. I prefer the Classic style over the newer ComfortCraft style. As for 110's, after 50 years Buck has that one down pretty well.

I have a standard 301 from 2006 and a "Chuck Buck" 301 from 2007. The quality of the Chuck Buck is outstanding but the standard 301 has quite a bit a blade rub to the point the main blade does not snap shut.
