My Buddy in O1

This is a fist full of knife. 7 1/2 inches OAL with a 3 5/8 in blade. Convex grind on O1. Yep, O1.....I'm tryin to move up in the world....

The handle is red palm.

where does one get red palm?? is it a hard or softer wood?

Ive found red and black palm on ebay, its a pretty hard wood and does chip easy, Im sure stabilizing wouldnt hurt but it works well natural, the end grain is tiny dots that run the length of the grain, if you look at the butt of his knife in the 4th pic youll see the dots. To be honest I never cared for how it looked until I put it on a knife, you can turn the grain 45° and make the dots run the length of handle along the spine.
