My buddy's indroduction to "the addiction" (too cool, had to share)

My buddy at work was slowly introduced to quality folders via yours truly. His first high end folder was a ZT 0562 (Elmax). Some of you may recall the pic I posted of it completely covered in blood after he used it to skin a deer. Recently, ZT dropped the all black 0562 sprint run in 20cv. He was obsessed with the design, and was tempted to buy one. I had a hunch that whitty over at usamadeblade would have a couple with custom graphics, and I was right. I showed one to my buddy and he immediately bought it. In my opinion, this was an important purchase for him. It was his SECOND high quality folder purchase, same knife, and the decision was almost entirely based on aesthetics (though he does carry and use it.) Main point being, it was really fun to witness the true transition from someone who just uses folders, to someone who truly appreciates the beauty and design of a knife. Needless to say, my buddy is VERY happy with this beauty. Thanks again Whitty!!!

Great to see someone starting out with knives and able to appreciate something that costs a bit more and be willing to buy it. I only have one ZT. Been tempted to buy others, but I keep holding back. Lots of well made choices these days on factory knives.
