Wow, that is an awsome looking knife. Handle looks a little narrow, how does it compare to the BK 7, the handle size that is? What metal is this one made from?

It is made from INFI, actually the handle is slightly thicker than on the BK 7 I think. I noticed that too, but the drop in the handle accounts for its "perceived width". Perfectly, center balenced when you use the choil but tremendous chopping ability once you choke back on the dropped part of the handle. Its a great knife.

Looks like a great bush knife. What is the width across the top of the handle? And the width from top to bottom on the handle? Just curious. ;)

Looks like a winner to me -- glade to see a nice use like that out in the field instead of in a safe. Don't see much that you couldn't go through with that blade.

3/4 of an inch thick
a bit more than 1 and 1/4 inches wide

I'l take it out soon and take her through the paces. I'l be sure to post pics.

do you know if they came with any other finishes besides the desert tan?

thanks for the pics :)

Heck yes! :D Excellent blade shape for an all-purpose wilderness knife. I also like the desert tan coating - it's a nice change from black finishes. That knife is gonna love the woods :D

Agreed, I am not a big fan of the whole "tactical black"

The desert finish is also more durable than the black ones.

Can't say as I care much for the knife, but the link to www.armoralleather.com for sheaths was golden!

These guys will work with you, and their prices are great. [Don't tell them].
