Well, it took almost a year, but my new Battle Mistress and Mean Street have arrived today! I haven't cut anything yet except for paper and arm hair, but I already love them. I have owned a BM before, but sold it to a friend because I wanted one of the new style ones, so I know how awesome those are already. But the little Mean Street looks like the toughest small knife I have seen! With a three inch blade and 1/4 in. thickness, this looks like a tough little pit bull. I am impressed with the new style sheaths too, and these things came razor sharp. It took a long time, but it was worth the wait. Jerry also sent a coupon and an apology letter which I thought was nice.

Whats the coupon for? If it is for a free battle Mistress can I have it?

When you order a Battle Mistress do you pay for it then or when it gets done?

That's great! How do you like the new style BM? I sold my older model BM and got a new one, too. I like the newer style better. The plunge section is a smooth curve compared to the older model's sharp one.

YAHOO!
I remember the day I received the box. I was more excited than a kid at Christmas.
The Battle Mistress just laid there waiting for me to pick it up and use it. My wife is jealous of our relationship...

Congratulations and enjoy!!!

tknife,

Talk about a kid in a Candy Store! Your comment about the Mean Street has made me look forward even more to getting mine. Only 14 more weeks to go!

Hope you enjoy the Mean Street and Battle Mistress!

I'm really happy to see Jerry's efforts to improve his company starting to pay off.

The coupon is for $30 off my next Busse, and a promised delivery date of 6-8 weeks. I didn't pay the whole amount up front. I put a deposit down, and paid the rest a little while ago. I really do like the new BM design better. There are just subtle changes from the older one, but it makes the whole knife better. I definitely look forward to putting the Mean Street through it's paces. It's got a good fat handle that fills my hand perfectly, and should be a great little utility blade. Now where did I leave that manilla rope?
