I've been disappointed the last two years with Spyderco folders as they moved away from what I prefer. Now they have hit the spot with the YoJumbo and the Canis. I will be buying both.

Kelly McCann has been seeking a manufacturer for the folding Canis for more than 10 years. Every time the collaboration fell apart. The closest was Emerson but then Emerson has never needed to be a collaborator and I believe Kelly was looking for a better steel and stronger lock.

I'm pleased to see that Eric and Kelly have brought this knife to fruition.
 
I'm really digging the Canis as well. And that Swayback is a must buy too.

Spyderco 2020 was being very quiet for me, wanted to visit the SFO last week but it was closed to walk in traffic. :(

Then, here come the teal Endura in S30V, Zome GITD Delica and Endura and the waved PM2. BAM! All very cool exclusives, and easy to get with no lolly scramble. There's been a lot of complaining about availability lately, so I figured I would mention some cool and collectible Spydies that you don't need to make the "drop" for.
 
I'm into SD knives but I don't think I'd buy the Canis, mainly because of the way it looks.

It reminds me of a Captain which (while functional) just looked too unnecessarily complex and "busy" to me.

It's just my opinion but I'll take a Yojimbo (I have 2) over the Canis any day.

On the other hand, although I've said otherwise previously, I think I will buy the Yojumbo, simply because I like folding knives w/4" blades and because it will pair the satin Yojimbo 2 that I already own and, if they come out w/a DLC Yojumbo, I'll buy that one too in order to pair w/the DLC Yojimbo 2 that I also own. :)

I already picked up a Natuve 5 G10 REX45. Next will be the K390 Endela once it’s announced. It should be a nice wait.
 
I feel that the mid-blade swedge of the Canis looks better on the custom fixed blade version, but I will probably still get one as I really like wharncliffes.
