I had a "Want to Buy Busse CABS" in my signature line for at least a few weeks. Out of the blue, when all hope had been lost, the good Doctor - (OldPhysics), PM'd me and told me he'd hook me up if no one responded.

After a bit more time he informed me that I'd waited long enough and dug out a new, mint, C.A.B.S. LE and mailed it to me. I can't say enough about this gentleman's big heart. He never even cashed the check I mailed him for payment (his cost BTW) until I received the knife and told him how much I loved it.

I still can't believe I own it - I LOVE this knife! Thanks very much Doc this knife is so much more than I expected! :D

Mark on the tip of the non-marked side wiped off after I took the picture (don't know were that came from?). I should also mention that this arrived scary sharp!

There are some nice folks on this forum.
The CABS is a must have, enjoy your new blade.

Make sure you use that knife constantly. It's a Busse -- it'll get upset if you leave it in the safe.:)

Seriously, I'm glad it's just what you were looking for.

As to the mark, I was in a hurry and perhaps didn't get all the protection off the steel. Not that it really needed it ... but, I'm pretty much a creature of habit.

BTW -- Garth sharpened that little beauty. He sure knows how to make a knife sharp!

I promise to use it Jamie! I cut a few twigs with it today (don't laugh!) but I'm ramping up slowly to real use, a little bit at a time. I'm at the envelope and toothpick whittling stage right now. :)

About the mark - I worded that strange. It's not there, I wiped it off. This beauty has such a high gloss finish on the blade that anything that touches it will leave a mark. It's finish is unbelievably shiny.

Congrats! You couldn't have gotten one from a better HOG nor a nicer guy. Jamie is the man!:thumbup:
Nice pix! :)

Glad to see you finally got your hands on one. Now all it needs is a nice leather sheath. Very nice of OP to make it all happen

Good thing he gave you his (as you weren't getting mine). :p
Seriously though, Old Physics is a class act, good for you.

Those mischievous CABSes. Always climbing up trees but needing your help to get back down.

You are for sure a stand up Guy! Thank you for showing people how fantastic and friendly the people are around here.

OP has hooked me up before as well. Good guy to do a deal with. He sold me a pumpkin SS, and then had me send the money to a collection being taken up for some one who lost their family.
