My C.A.K.

It is 18 inches and if I remember correctly, 32 ounces? It is one that I had for years and it had been used heavily. I use it to clear logging road and ATV trails in the spring. Well, the handles started separating from the tang so I sent it off to be rehandled. That story can be found here: http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php/1203079-Big-Chris-is-the-best-ever!

It feels great in the hand. He exactly replicated the shape that I had sanded into the previous wood handle. It sounds like it was a bit of a pain to do but I'm am very happy with the results!

looks really good, suits the steel, thanks for posting it, I was once an enemy of micarta but have grown tolerant

Nicely done. I've done home made micarta on a Thai enep I have. It's tough stuff but not too hard to work with. Only bummer is the nasty dust it makes while you're shaping it.
