My CABS will ship WHEN?

The first thing you want to to is watch your account to see when you get "dinged" for the amount.

Then you can start asking "are we there yet".

If you keep asking, I will turn this van around right now, and we will all go home!

If they don't know that answer then it's about time they did. Waiting for your Busse is the most painful part of the process, until you cut yourself, of course....

Considering they were getting ready for Knob Creek, that will have put them a bit behind. Usually Amy-0 will announce when they are about to ship/have shipped. That may be before or after the first people get "dinged". The only way to get one "quickly" is to wait for them to already be shipping, then order one. Of course, pre-ordering will get you in the first batch.

The wait kinda blows, but I have a feeling this one will be worth it like the BWM was.

If it's sharp enough, being cut doesn't really hurt that much. :cool:
 
the initial estimate from Amy, IIRC, was ~6wks from the order date.

so, in your case: 9/14 + 6wks = 10/28.

or there about...

+/- "two weeks".
 
All of us new guys should count ourselves fortunate. In the old days, "two weeks" could mean a year or more. We're spoiled little piglets now.

I have not ordered from them before, and (now don't laugh at my naivety), I thought when I placed my order that the knives were already made, sitting on a shelf, ready to ship out.

in the future, I'll know, and won't ask unanswerable questions like this. ;)

Ganzaaaa decisions could take a month or more. I remember those days. :eek:

Let me put in a shameless plug for Busse Customer Service.

I called them today, and spoke to Lexy(spelling?). I won't go into what she has done to help me get my CABS in time for my big November camping/hiking trip, but just let me say she and Busse Combat have astoundingly good customer service. :D
 
Hmmm... I have a November hiking/backpacking trip coming up myself! :eek: :D
