Great knife too bad theres no more Camillus, that was a truly remarkable company.
 
I agree - you got a good one there. When I found out Camillus was closing, I went down to the BSA store here and bought several of this type, for my son and others in the den. Total tragedy, what happened to Camillus.

You have to go pretty far to beat a good scout knife!

Looking at that Camillus brings back so many memories, its so similar to the one dad gave me when I was 12. Like the time Dave, Ev, Bobby and me were trying to get across this creek on a skinny log...
 
I have an ulster that looks exactly like that . Mines plastic though, yours looks like bone from the pic. I wonder if they were made in the same factory. It's one of my faves. It's also the sharpest knife I own.

(edits mine) As far as I could find out, they were all jigged delrin (plastic). When Camillus closed, I looked for everything made by them that I could get, and I couldn't locate any in bone.
