She was sent back to CS for some issues, but they have resolved those issues to my satisfaction... So she'll be in with the rest of my collection soon (after a drop of oil on the blade pivot pin, and an overall wipedown). I did attend the Syracuse NY gun show... nothing came home with me. The Canal Street vendor that is usually there, was there again today, but... he was selling at almost full blown retail, and NYS sales tax to boot. He sat there, did not see a rush on his knives at his prices. Oh well.... it was fun to look around. Lots of chinese made knives, and a few Camillus and Remingtons here and there... but, (please read the following in a Ricky Ricardo accent)... "Lucy, stuff was very spensive!"... lol! Again, oh well... my money stayed in my pocket :-)

I may add CS again to my collection... but only if I can physically inspect with my own eyes. I feel GEC is probably one of the least to worry about (they likely not having issues and will likely meet expectations). Where I feel Canal Street and Utica (obviously the CS being at higher levels and price), both are better purchased hands on. Just my opinion :-)

I ordered one of those pinch lockbacks in "smooth sunset bone." I was amazed at the silky-smooth operation. I've never gotten a true stinker from Canal Street, but never gotten one as nice as this pinch lockback.

Thanks for the update - glad to hear Canal Street came through for you.

That is a beauty!

Looks good. Glad to here they came through. I'd like to add a nice CS knife of some sort to my collection. They seem to be willing to resolve issues which is very commendable IMO. I'd like to give them my business, if they'll deliver a quality knife.
