My Case BareHead Slimline, coming tommorow.

Great pattern and one I go w-a-y back with personally.

Case, yeller handle, with chrome vanadium blade is my favorite.
Hen & Rooster with Stag is another one I have some time with as well.

Light, easy to pocket, but what a proven workhorse these are!!

They are nice knives. Mine rides nice beside a bandana in my backpocket.

like this?

There's one in my back pocket. It is a great, light knife. Long enough to do any pocketknife task, slender and pointy and light enough to handle a lot of smaller knife tasks. Very versatile, good feel. Can't say enough how much I like mine.

Absintheur,

Impeccable taste!

That is exactly "me".
Peanut and Barehead, yeller handles and CV blades.

I really like the pattern. Easier to carry than a sodbuster, nice fine point. Good all around and simple slipjoint.

I have a Queen Slimline in brown winterbottom delrin, and in maple.
also a Slimline Trapper in Cocobolo.

I rebeveled the brown winterbottom delrin, it is a regular user for me.
I would love to see it in the same size as a dogleg jack 3 1/2", but with a single clip.

I had been wanting to try one for a while now, and last weekend picked up a brand new one at a flea market. It is a little rough opening and hopefully will work itself smoother. I was very surprised at how thin and light it is. Got it all nice and sharp and ready to go, should be great for an EDC.

One of my favorite all time patterns!! Great knife to use. I wore 2 out before I was 18. I got this one with money cutting grass when I was 12 and never used it. It was in a case with a bunch of 70s era knives and never sold. That was back in 1978. Probably the first knife I ever purchased because I liked the looks.

You will like this pattern!!

Absin...That's a dandy..Thanks for posting the pic.

That's a good lookin' knife, Randy!

Thanks Blues.. ..Sure wish I had picked up more of those old knives back then..I know of a hardware store in Chicago that is still selling 70s knives from a display.. :)..

This Robeson,I'm not sure if it's considered a slimline,it's smaller than a regular trapper but bigger than the Case slims

I know I have a Queen and couple more Case that haven't gotten in the lineup.

I don't know if it was a subliminal thing, what with seeing this topic go by a couple of weeks ago or what, but I got bitten by the slimline bug this past week.

I've had a Case red bone/CV slimline for a couple of years now, and it's been my chairside utility knife for some time. I realized recently that its blade size is just about perfect for my daily cutting chores, being thin, slim, and super sharp. The knife itself is so thin and light that it disappears in your pocket, yet still provides plenty of handle to grasp, even with my big paws.

So my red bone/CV is riding with me today, and I went ahead and ordered another slimline: A yellow handled barehead in Tru-Sharp. I often find myself cutting up fruit at my office desk, and prefer using a stainless knife around acidic foods. And the blade on the slimline trapper is long enough to cut through an apple without having to go around the outside.

I may look at getting one of the brown Delrin ones, too. Hey, got to have the whole set, you know?

... and just like that, it arrived today. Ordered it Sunday night and had it Wednesday. I'm amazed.

Great knife, too! The Barehead feels quite nice.
