I have a new addition to the family. A black cat. Its about 3 months old and a little retarded, it tried to take a dip in my fish tank, and it tears around my house and tries to put everything in its mouth, including my jaguar-Which is not good. Apparently the motion of me flipping the bali around is like eye candy for her. I think i now have an idea what it is like to have a child. this cat needs constant supervision. I have to be careful with the knife though, I have a bad feeling one of these days its going to learn its lesson the hard way.
 
I'm currently taking care of my gf's brothers cat while he's on vacation. The other day I was practising aerials, sitting on the bed, with the cat lying at the end of the bed. Overconfident as usual, I wasn't very careful, and the bali flew away from my hand directly at the cat. It landed 5 cm from the cat, which eyed the bali with a bored look, it obviously had no idea of the danger...

If I had hurt the cat, I would've been in some SERIOUS trouble... my bali flipping privileges would probably have been taken away from me.. permanently !!!
 
My cat couldn't give a shite about my balisongs, even if it hit her the fat would just absorb the shock and she'd continue to sleep.

BalisongMan, the avatar has to be 50x50 OR! less than 10 kilobytes. The original picture was a jpeg, I just converted it to black & white and saved it in a 1-bitplane bitmap. The size is 9.5k.
I like it (I have the original as a windows background, I'm just hoping I don't tick people off with it.. 8-))
 
Hmmm, I was told that my 5 kb picture was too large. I guess I'll try again!!! Sweet, I thought it had to be 50x50.
 
I have a cat also. He seems to get a kick out of my flipping too. He also likes to smell my BM42A. The anodization must give off something.
 
Still tells me that my 5kb picture which is larger than 50x50 is too big, the page says something to the effect that it has to be at most 50x50!?! :confused: :( :confused:
 
I think if you use a .bmp format the computer will let you slide by on the 50x50 pixels and allow you to move up to the 10K maximum memory.
 
How about rabbits? I flip in my backyard just about everyday and there are often rabbits running around. I'm not saying it attracts them, but it definately doesn't scare them away. They seem to not even notice me and will come quite close, despite the click-clacky knife. The second I open my mouth and speak, they're off in a flash.
