My Christmas knives

I've been telling my family that I want to start collecting Case knives. My wife gave me a chestnut bone cv peanut and a yellow cv medium stockman with punch. I can blame you guys for the newfound peanut love. I'm already loving this little knife and can't stop taking it out of my pocket and admiring it. Sorry for the crappy pictures. I'll get better ones soon hopefully.

The 3rd Case I got for Christmas was given to me by my dad. It's an Arapaho. My mom gave it to him when the first got married and he used it every hunting season until about 10 years ago. He was trying to bust through the pelvis of a cow elk my brother killed. Dad was using a rock to hit the spine of the knife and bent the tip. He retired it after that. I'd have to say its one of my 3 most prized knives, the others being a Buck 110 my wife had engraved and gave me on our 1st anniversary of dating and the peanut she just gave me. Anyways here it is

So with these 3, I know have 6 Case knives and don't plan on stopping any time soon!

Looks like a fine Christmas indeed, DeerTracker. I can't see the bent tip on the Arapaho. I wonder if Case might be able to give the knife a repair and clean-up. What with history and meaning to you, that could be pretty nice thing to do.

I was thinking about seeing if they can fix it. It's not bent bad but enough to notice if you look down the spine or edge. I just snapped a couple quick pictures last night when we got home from the festivities. I'll try to take some better pictures tomorrow.

Still learning to set up pictures better but these aren't real great. It's 13* and snowing out so these will have to do for now. Took these with my phone too. When I get a nice day I'll take my big Nikon out and snap some.
