I really like the Loveless Chute - such a useful blade. The blade on this one is a bit longer at 5" and I added the handle from my Silent Hunter. A very comfortable chute knife - neutral balance is right behind the double guard. Your comments are welcome.

Nice, always love the lines of that style. Nice job…

Thanks very much - glad you like it! It's up for sale with no bites so it looks like it's going to be my personal carry for awhile. What a problem to have. :D

Very nice.
Why are they called 'Chute' knives - is the explanation as simple as the name implies?

Thanks for commenting - glad you like it. Loveless and a fella named Archer collaborated to design the chute knife. Archer was an operator and needed a survival and fighting knife used to cut parachute lines if he got hung up in a tree.

Your fit & finish is impeccable as usual.
Your handle looks very good ergonomically, but I'm not a fan from an aesthetic perspective on this particular design.

Kevin: Thanks for viewing and taking the time to assess - I'm inclined to agree with you - it feels great and it's a great user. Not a collector's piece. :)

Thanks. Guess it was as simple as implied by the name :-)
