My Cinquedea - What date would you ascribe to this?

I recently posted an image of an old Cinquedea (the top knife shown below), I believe this to be a 19th century decorator or theater (performing arts prop) item and perhaps a reference/associated with the 1833 opera Lucretia Borgia. What are you thoughts on this? The build is actually integral with a full length tang. Also, the handle looks to have been repaired in the past. I am curious to see whether anyone has come across a similar example.

I have definitely not seen one before (in fact, I have not seen any cinquedea outside museums or images before), but it does have that look of a 19c curio. Did you get this in Europe or did it find its way to America before you acquired it?
