Nice collection of Cold Steel! I really like the looks of the top knife.

Welcome to the forum. Cold Steel makes a pretty good knife, don't they? I would suggest you try one of their 3V offerings and the CTS-XHP models.

Oooh, disco'd ODA in a disco'd steel! Very nice!

Love my Bushman. I never get the chance to carry/use as intended, unfortunately.

Leatherneck is my favorite knife, good taste.

Thanks everyone. Unfortunately we don't have quality knife makers in India and we have to import them paying high shipping costs and of course customs duty.. :(

Sorry for the CS life story just breaking in the tablet.

Liking that ODA BTW.

One day I'll put all of the Cold Steel knives I have in my collection, in a photo. But I am to lazy to do it at the moment.

Off the top of my head, I currently own.

XHP Tanto Recon 1 (My go to, can't nothing kick it out of my pocket, EDC)
XHP Talwar
XHP Alum 4" Ti-Lite
Heavy Duty Sword Cane
1917 Frontier Bowie 1055
SF Shovel
Trail Hawk
San Mai III Master Hunter
San Mai III Trail Master
SK5 Recon Scout
AUS8A SRK
AUS8A AK-47
AUS8A American Lawman w/ Steel Liners
AUS8A Spear Point Code 4
Mackinac Hunter (w/ Black Sketchen G10 Scales)
Bushman
Steel Tiger

I am certain that I am missing a bunch.

I have owned:

San Mai III Natchez Bowie (Traded it for a Ruger Single Six w/ both cylinders)

A San Mai III OSI (traded it for the Recon Scout)

Mini Bushman (gave it to my oldest son, was given another one by a fellow forum member to give my 2nd oldest son, when he got his totin' chip).

AUS8A Spear point Recon 1. Gave it to my oldest son as well.

At this point I own too many CS knives(and hawks and machetes) to even fit them into one picture.

I hear the Swift has issues. How do you gauge them?

Its a very sexy knife, one I wish was reissued as a non assisted model. Well not reissued, maybe add a non assisted version named the "Not as Swift"

Yeah I was the one who reported the broken lockbar spring here. I had 2 and the 2nd one was the one that broke. CS replaced it within less than 2 weeks since I shipped it back though and the replacement hasn't had any issues since then. It may be a one off issue but the lockbar spring design is still inherently weaker. I too wished that it's just a manual knife. I tighten my pivot all the way down and use it like a manual. Btw, one comment is that the liner side of the G10 handle feel kinda flimsy and sound like plastic when you tap it.

Seriously there is currently nothing in the lineup that has similar flat ground blade shape and contoured G10 handle in that size range. So even if it's a manual knife it's still going to be very special.

You can almost open a cold steel show room. Only need the espadas, bowies and tantos to complete the collection.

I like the Bowies pretty well, but not will enough to pay the $150+ asking price for them. Not a big tanto fan at all, I only have a few tantos, and most of the ones I have are budget blades, I think the priciest tanto I have is the XL serrated tanto Voyager, and that was only like $74, and I mainly got it to complete the Voyager XL collection. I'd really like the Espadas, but I want the one with bolsters, and they are well outside my price range. Maybe I'll break down and get the XL version in AUS8, that one's still out there for $115 or so. Also missing the Recons, and those I do plan on getting at some point, at least the clip point version...

Nice buddy. I will likely grab a D2 Leatherneck when it becomes available again at my preferred vendor.
