This is really addictive.

I have a Caly3, BM Mini Grip and just picked up this Emerson today.
Went to handle them all and had the pick of the litter :)

I'd say the Spyderco has the best finish and the Emerson is a tank; no surprises there. I like the BM for it's flip-action thanks to the Axis lock.

My first knife was actually a small Sebenza which I sold 'cause I couldn't get a good edge on it, but I'm thinking of getting another one...

Nice knives, could take a picture like the third picture in the first post? I won't mind seeing a comparison of the knives thicknesses. The money I could spend on these things....

Watch out, collection is an addiction just like any other, consumes all your money and your time.:D:D:D

I have an earlier version of that Emerson...the specwar. You can flick it open with your wrist faster than any switch.Got a nice sound to it when you whip it open.

I think I have a problem.

I went in to get a Persian cos it's so different from what I have and ended up getting a Delica Wave also, just because.

What next? Emerson CQC-10? Maybe a fixed Ka-bar? Uh oh...

Picked up a Kershaw Spec Bump today:

I didn't realize it till I got it home, but man Kershaw executed this perfectly from design to assembly. Nice packaging, too.
I'm a fan!

Picked up a P-Sark over the weekend. Saved a wedding with it actually- in the last minute I was able to cut the boutonniere holes that were still sewn shut from the rental tuxedos. Well, I cut too far on one, but 7 out of 8 wasn't bad. :o

As for the knife itself, it's not as smooth as my CQC-7. I've tweaked the pivot as loose as it will go without introducing vertical blade play and disassembled, cleaned and applied Militec so I hope it will break in.
