Just bored working from home today, so I thought I'd put up a pic of my collection, as I always enjoy seeing what other people have. Of all of them, the emerson, two benchmades, and harpy get the most everyday carry and use (one at a time, not all at once :)

Nice collection, so far....Man....Interested in trading that BM 940 or the Pardue ? :D

Thanks for the offer, but that 940 was the first "good" knife I ever bought, about 7 yrs ago now! Plus, it just came back from benchmade for a new blade and a little tlc, so I think I'll hang on to it :)

As for the pardue, that's the only knife my wife's actually ever bought me, so if I traded it off, it would probably be the last too!

Man! Nice group there. I have a lotta catching up to do..

Thanks :)

I've been buying quality knives for about 7 or 8 years now, so it's not like I picked them all up at once. I find every 6 months or so I can justify a nice new knife... sure there's enough great designs out there that I could probably find one a month to buy easily, but I'm happy with what I have so far.

Nice collection. I love the orange handle on the Military. I'd have one if they were tip up.

Nice collection! What is the slipjoint and what's the handle material?

Hi stormshadow -

Some nice keepers there!

Looks like you take your time and make considered choices before you buy.

Thanks for the picture.

best regards -

Yes, tip up would be nice, but like the harpy, once you get used to doing the "spyder-drop" to open them, it's not that big a deal.

This is a tidiote (great eastern cutlery) beaver tail in white bone. I actually ground the tip of this one into more of a drop point, as from the factory the tip was so rounded (for skinning I guess) as to be fairly useless for normal use. Great slipjoint though, I'd like to get another GEC knife someday!
