What do you guys think of my collection? Ive used almost all of them with the acception of the white hunter and the franklin mint.

I would take the axis lock over a liner lock , for strength and saftey alone . Both Spyderco and Benchmade make linerlocks very well , bottom line I dont care for liners in anything but small folders . I look at the liner as a slipjoint with a retard mechanism . Benchmade makes a pretty good production framelock , Spyderco makes very good , strong lockbacks . Choosing is next to impossible , both are good lines , both have their followings .

Yeah, im pretty partial to the multi tools as i hunt with both bow and airgun and im always havin to fix something around here. Fav was the buck tool until it decided to be a butthead and the pliers got messed up. My CRKT M16 has not left my side since the day i got it, i love that knife.

I have a Victorinox on the way, i returned my Kershaw Blur because i wasnt thrilled with the steel, needed a multi tool and heard the opening spring has broken on a lot of them.

thanks. One of my fav collectables. i hate polishing it though! I love animals, especially dogs and reptiles so this knife was a had to have.

If I had one of those fine Buck 110s, I ask STR to attach a clip and thumb stud to it. He's already done it successfully with his own.

I love the variety. Good Work!

After having now experienced a wide range of knives, do you have any plans to focus and seriously "collect" one particular brand or style?

nah, i have an eye for all types of knives. I do have one that i am very persistant towards. A mint Gerber Mark I boot knife. I like a variety of knives and mainly buy folders, although now im looking for a good fixed blade that i can carry. Ive been looking at a ka-bar but id like to buy myself a boot knife to carry.
