My compliments to ESEE

I received my first ESEE (an ESEE3-MIL) a few days ago. I want to compliment the makers on the substantial feel of this tool and the choice of using a more substantial belly in the blade. Too many knife makers are choosing blade styles that are focused on a sharp, pointy tip and not enough (in my opinion) on the slicing aspect.

While this is my first ESEE, I suspect (strongly) that it will not be my last.

No ESEE collection would be complete without an Izula!

Nice score on the 3. A great all around knife. I just got a Junglas, and while it certainly isn't the most practical of knives, it sure is fun!

I love having a good belly on a blade. Makes slicing that much easier

esee knives are the BEST. I sleep with mine under my pillow, in my pocket, beside my bed...

^ well, i might not be normal but atleast i'm not alone. i'm another one of those 'shower with my knife' weirdos :)

i don't have a "3" and probably never will. i can see my "5" calling a few homies to join the gang, though, maybe a Junglas and a couple Izulas :D

LOL, Just yesterday I was in the shower trying to get the flip open cap off the shampoo so I could get the last of it out of the bottle.

My first thought was, I need an Izula in here.

I have to agree, I've been blown away by all my ESEE pieces, right up there with the best in the world, they don't make any duds.

I'm sure you'll soon have a growing colection of them too :)

Definitely flawless out of the package. When I buy a knife I ask for 10 pieces. I studie them and and pick the best one. Looking for details like if the grind is perfectly even on both sides. My ESEE was amazing. Happiest I've ever been with a knife purchase.

RC-5-S is my first ESEE, by recommendation, and wow. Heavy, thick, fits in my hand like a glove. Will be trying it out camping very soon. Getting the Izula II next week. As my friend says "Watch out, they are like chips. You can't have just one" and I agree.
