I have been sending ads for drug products & ptobabally other items to my contact list. What,how & why is this happening ?

Can this be erased ? I noticed like messages from people that rarely communicated .this began over a week ago.

Sounds like a virus. I suggest you go to kapersky.com and download the Kaspersky Virus Removal Tool 2010. Its free and safe and I have personally removed several virus with it.

There are several different ways this is done. You need to establish what is happening before you can go about fixing it. First question would be are the emails are being sent "only" to people in your address book?

It is probably just your email that has been hacked. I had the same issue, and it was all solved by changing my email password.
