My Computer squeals like a pig!

My Computer squeals everytime I boot up and it almost sounds like one of the cooling fans is surging. I know this is April fools Day but this is not a joke.

The squealing sounds almost like a pig in pain - kinda scary. If it's a fan how do I determine which one it is? Has anybody else had a fan surge and squeal like a pig? :confused: Is the computer trying to tell me something - if so, I would like to know what.
 
It should be REALLY easy to figure out which fan it is. Just unplug them!
Follow the wires and disconnect one at a time.
OR it might be even easier to just open your tower and listen to where the sound is coming from when it boots up.

If it happens at POWER up, I would guess fan. BOOT up may very well be a drive failure.

It's not a fan...it's a rat getting caught up in the INFI blades of the fan! :D

Now I really don't want to take off the computer case covers! :eek:

The squeeling I can take, what's going on in there I don't want to see. Yes I've seen "Deliverance" and if that guy is in there I'm going to get a bow to keep around the computer. :D
 
if a bearing is going out in you fan motor,it could cause the fan to stop, thusly heating or overheating up your cpu...that means trouble...better get it checked to be safe.
