My Crappy PPT review

Nicely done. If I may make a couple suggestions:
-Use better lighting. Maybe a lamp with either a CF daylight style bulb or some kind of warm light. It will highlight the knife better.
-Neutral background (tan/beige/white/OD green). The cloth/turban material on the table distracts and is also very dark and busy.
-Tripod

Great job on the first one!

thanks for the advice

Since Perrin designed this folder, I'm assuming he designed it to be a capable weapon if the need arises. Based on those assumptions, I think this knife should have come waved.

Like the Gunting before it, "waved" Spydercos no longer hold interest for me. I simply can't engage them reliably in a training setting. That said, I am very interested in the PPT design. It appears to be very pragmatic. The video review (thanks) pointed out a few features that I wasn't aware of.

The only major disadvantage that I can think of is in the low-rider clip. I understand that it is more discreet, but I like having greater purchase upon the draw.

You would think that Perrin would have considered that in the design and ruled it out for one reason or another.

Myself I don't trust waved knives to operate reliably.

I think that was a nicely done review of an outstanding knife. I don't think the knife is perfect but close. :)

Keep the reviews coming.

Not everyone thinks wave is that great. Maybe in some kind of knife dual quick draw fantasy they are awesome but in real life I find them to be little more than a fun toy feature to mess around with. YMMV
