My girlfriend and I went to visit family in her home town over the past weekend, and we stayed at her apartment with her roomate. Her roomate is an EMT with a local ambulance co. is a knife lover. I had just bought a CRKT Small Professional and I left it in the box on the coffee table in her apartment before I went out one night. I came home only to find that she found it and fell in love with it. I was about to tell her to get her own till she flashed her baby blue eyes at me with a puppy-dog frown. My girlfriend told me men were helpless to the power in her eyes. Knowing this and trying to resist like Captain Kirk against the amazon women didn't help. Needless to say I am now without the CRKT in question. She left for her shift the next day, and the CRKT Pro was clipped to her emergency shears case. I was informed that the knife was going to get lots of use, so I don't feel as bad. Now my girlfriend informs me she needs a knife. When will the madness end!!!!!!! The only tought part was she was looking at my Chris Reeve catalog. She wants a Solar Wind Sebbie! AAARRRRGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man, what a dilemma..... two beautiful women who like knives. Can we trade places?:D

I'm with Mongo on this one... we don't feel sorry for you!

Then again, perhaps this is a warning to all of us. We want women who like knives, but be careful what you with for! My GF has expensive taste in jewelwry.. I can;t imagine what she'd be looking at if she were a knife nut!

Thanksfully, she carries a Spyderco Ladybug and seems satisfied with that. I'm just glad they came in purple!

The tough thing is my girlfriend works on the same USAF PD as I do and knows about all the tactical little gizmos out there, so she won't settle for anything less than the best. She knows the difference between Frost and Microtech quality. She doesn't have the hunger to have many knives like I do though. One really good knife and she is happy. As for her roomate, she works alongside a knife nut at work. I guess I can't win any way I look at it. I wouldn't trade my position with anyone. Sorry. :D
