I put off getting this model for a long time because I had many other knives that were similar sizes so I didn't need it. I got it a week ago and it's been in my pocket ever since. Love it. Just wanted to share some pics since it is nice out today. We need more 2mm thick blades like this and less "hard use" knives. Hard use is for fixed blades and hatchets.

I really like the look of this knife. But I like the blade to be a bit thicker. 2mm is too thin for me.

Nice pics! I love mine, and love it's thin blade for it's purpose. An amazing slicer and EDC knife.

Love my Chaparral CF. Probably my most favorite.

Just out of curiosity, what do you do with your EDC on a daily bases that requires a thicker blade? Never heard of anyone snapping a blade on a Chaparral.

Great pics. My Chaparral is one of my favorites and is a great slicer. Those guys at the Taichung factory really know what they are doing.

The Chaparral 1 CF & CTS-XHP is a high-quality EDC that's a good value at about $100. The blade is thick enough for most EDC tasks as long as the tip is not challenged.
