I was originally going to buy an RC-4 but I realized that I don't use FBs for anything besides bushcraft and I won't be doing that kind of stuff till summer. I decided to wait until later to buy it (maybe the RC-5) so that I can use it right away (the prices might go down too:D) So of course, now I can use my carefully saved $$$$$ for a folder. I originally dissmised spydercos as being ugly but the idea keeps gnawing at my brain to try one out. The more I look at them, the less ugly they seem so, (takes deep breath) I am going to try one out, if I don't like it, I can just trade or sell it. I would like a recomendation for a introductory level Spyderco. The only requirement is the blade should be 3-3.5 inches and around $60. I was thinking the foliage green delica maybe?
Thanks.

Get a Wallyworld Spyderco Native. Youll love it and save your money at the same time.........YOULL LOVE IT. About 35 to 40 bucks. I got one and never looked back.

Delica or Endura. Right at your price range, wonderful blades. I carry my Endura everywhere, and I love it.

Yup, I would suggest a Delica. I like green, so go for that sage green Delica.

I am not rabidly anti-Walmart, but why buy at Walmart. Support your cutlery dealer, even if it's an online place (I like Knifecenter.com). If you're getting a spyderco, I recommend taking advantage of the fact that they're one of the few to offer ZDP-189. If you can scrape up 17 more bucks, you can get http://www.knifecenter.com/kc_new/store_detail.html?s=SP11PSGRE Needless to say, that extra $17 would be amortized over several lifetimes.

Whichever Spyderco Delica strikes your fancy. The delicas have that classic Spyderco look and can take a beating. I doubt you'll be dissapointed. Hell if you pick one without serrations and don't like it I'll buy it off you.

Canadian wallyworlds don't have natives:(. I find myself loving the serrations on my swisstool and since I don't have serrations on any of my edcs I want a partially serrrated spyderco. I hear they make the best ones (serrations). Or maybe just a PE spyderco paired up with a SE byrd.
