My Current Salt Collection

Hello all,

Here is just a quick post to show my appreciation for the Spyderco Salt series. These are the knives that originally got me into collecting Spyderco and continue to hold my interest. My most recent acquisitions are the USN ladybugs and the re-released Aqua Salt.

It's always hard to pick a favorite but the Pacific Salt is at the top of my list. I have owned/gifted to friends more of these than I can even remember. I am down to 2 myself, a customized Brad Southard regrind and the black version. I would love to see the Rock Salt be released again in all black like the Aqua Salt.

I just picked up each USN ladybug. I still want to get one more knife from the salt series. One to EDC and swim with. These ladybugs are my queen knives for collecting not using.

I want the USN catcherman or the USN endura but I doubt I will ever find them. So few were made and in collectors hands that aren't selling them. Literally you won't find them on ebay at all. When one pops up it will be so price gouged you couldn't afford it if you wanted to. Even used in rough shape I would pay a premium just to EDC it and have them sit along my USN ladybugs. Mainly want the catcherman but only USN version so I can put a lanyard on it and wear it while I swim. Though I'm debating whether to go fixed or folder for that. If I had to stab something for defense in the water then fixed would be the way to go.
