Well I was given this knife in trade and decided to make something of it. I made the G10 scales with thermoformed black and white liners, matching pancake sheath with a hunter orange G10 liner, and a fire steel rod to mount on the sheath. Hope you enjoy. Coupled with the completion of my first full custom knife (will start a build up thread on thaat later), it has been a busy week in the shop.

Guys like you keep the folks at knife making suppliers websites busy!

Good stuff.

Mind blown. One of the most tricked out 24s I've seen yet. Great attention to detail and the like how you retained the hole in rear handle. Great work!

Nice! I have some similar looking eskabars...One with tiger stripe G-10 and another with an orange and black sheath.

You ever considered doing full sized Becker handles?

BTW, how long have you been working with micarta and G-10 for man? You do some good work.

I've been working and pressing my own micarta for a couple years, I started working with G10 last winter after I realized I couldn't press micarta in the colder months. Thanks for the kind words everybody!

Looks great.
24 is nice with the whole hole.

How d'ya drill the firesteel hole without splitting the handle apart? Just a really sharp bit, or some special trick?

Those mods are sweet. I really really like the white and black liners as accents. Nice touch!!

Send me some for my 14, please? LOL ;)

I drilled the hole for the rod with a 1/4" bradpoint bit in the drill press....very slowly. The shock cord hole, I started off with a tiny bit and a cordless drill, and worked it up to a 3/16" hole, using 4 diff bits.

Looks great.
